Hey all,
I think everyone had a pretty good time in Legion and we're looking forward to getting the gear and items. So with that said we'll be doing more of these. After thinking it through and looking forward at the high end drops in Mul, I found the free lot system to be a bit unfair with Legion given that:
A: Some people are maining the jobs and have their shots at getting the pieces they find useful significantly reduced.

B: We could potentially have 1 person win everything, and the rest walk away with nothing (Highly unlikely but could happen). The reason I find this to be issue besides the previous reason is that the Legion drops are in everyone's pool and many are rare and take time to obtain.

C: Lastly, not everyone is joining for all of the runs. Which is fine don't get me wrong, events are not required and that wont change, it's a game and lets keep it that way. Bottom line, the people that are there the most should have the highest chances at the best drops.

Something that we did that worked well in previous runs with Dew's LS before Adoulin came out was basically a system that worked off of level of interest. Basically what everyone would do is post an item and an abjuration they wanted in their bazaar comment prior to entry. What you are able to lot is based on how often you're there as well. It wont be required for 100% attendance to get the high end stuff, but the more often you're there the better your chances are.

This idea will take some tweaking to make it a fair system, but going forward I'll be looking into it and will post updates about it on here. I'll also be looking into better setups and doing some deeper research on the fights. Thanks, looking forward to more runs : )

I agree, though we may need to recruit some crafters as a lot of cursed gear isn't made anymore. The only set I ever see plenty of is the crimson/blood pieces. Another causality of ilevel gear it seems. Also in regard to gil items they should go to you first to recoup the costs of the event and the rest be put aside for future events. Really expansive items then should be divided up to the attendees to the event that it dropped in, again with a fraction of it going to the guild. (so x/(y+1) x=gil y=attendees)
